Published on the occasion of the exhibition Spray at Season 4 Episode 6 in London, the book includes the complete text, imagery, and other ephemera collected and generated during Fleck’s online performance as “Jonathan Michaels.”
Each copy features a CD of audio accompaniments by composer Calum Bowen, as well as accompanying texts by Francesca Gavin and Aristotelis Nikolas Mochloulis.

The exhibition consisted of a series of works generated by the persona of “Jonathan Michaels.” Fleck created “Jonathan” to participate in communities on Discord where heterosexual men experiment with pheromones and other subliminal manipulation techniques to attract women. In the main gallery space, industrial ducting released a fog of androstenone, a pheromone constituent of boar saliva. A radio-play by Fleck read by an AI voiceover and scored by Calum Bown was broadcast in the gallery. An iteration of this work was subsequently exhibited at the 15th Kaunas Biennial in Lithuania.
